The 23rd Annual “Friends on the Fourth” 5K – now in partnership with Maranacook Lake Association as the “MLA and Watershed Friends on the Fourth” 5K was a roaring success!

 

Congratulations to the 2025 overall winner, James Cognata, with a time of 15:57,4 and the overall female winner, Heather Gallant, with a time of 17:35,6!!

 

The 2025 race was joyful and spirited. This year 610 registered runners and walkers participated with many spectators and supporters cheering all along the course.  

 

Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers, product and service donors, business sponsors, Back 40 Timing and Events, the Winthrop American Legion and the Town of Winthrop for helping us to make this event a fun tradition and a successful fundraiser!
