VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

In the field

Courtesy Boat Inspectors (CBI)

CBIs play an essential role in helping to prevent the spread and introduction of aquatic invasive species through inspections and education at the launches. WF can provide training resources and connect you with a lake association to help you get started. If interested, please contact Caroline at: caroline@watershedfriends.org

Adopt-a-Shoreline (AAS)

AAS is a great way to get out on the water (or explore your shoreline) and keep an eye on what is growing in your favorite body of water. WF can provide training resources and help connect you with a lake association or direct you to an area of greatest need. If interested, please contact Jennifer at: jennifer@watershedfriends.org

Frog-bit Management

Get your hands dirty and help remove European Frog-bit (EFB), an aquatic invasive species found in several waterbodies across the watershed. WF will be hosting training events, Frog-bit Fridays, several times over the course of the summer and also encourages anyone interested in removing EFB independently to get in touch. If interested, please contact Jennifer at: jennifer@watershedfriends.org
